Construction Management for Public Works Projects
You may or may not need an outside Construction Manager for your Public Works Project. If you do, an experienced Construction Manager can help your Agency to overcome roadblocks and deliver your project on time, on budget, and with client and stakeholder satisfaction. This learning session will show the benefits of working with a Construction Manager using “lessons learned” from both the Public Works Agency and Consultant perspectives.

• Typical Scope of Work for Construction Management services
• The best ways to solicit Construction Management services
• What are the qualifications needed in a Construction Manager for your project
• The Do’s and Dont’s of RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations
• How to integrate Public Works staff with consulting staff
